Yesterday I was amazed from a project while I browsing in the tech articles. It’s named CodePress.

It’s purely web based source code editor which supports various languages such as PHP, Javascript and even SQL. Ok, everybody reading this article, but still doesn’t checking the project site will say – “Ya, what’s new? Just one <textarea>!”. Well the difference is that this editor supports syntax highlighting! What about this, ah? There is a nice plug-in for WordPress in top of CodePress (the site is in German)

I think this masterpiece can be implemented in various frameworks and CMS sites. I will really appreciate if this one will be implemented in Joomla and CmsMadeSimple. Another cool idea is to implement it in phpMyAdmin. I think this will make the sql more obvious and easy to read.
